This humble appearing, leather bound book is a treasure for Eucharistic Adoration. Father Cameron offers thirty days of Eucharistic meditations, many of them based on texts and reflections of Pope Benedict XVI. The two to three page meditations begin with Scripture, proceed through a reflection, and end with prayer. They are precisely the sort of material a Eucharistic adorer would want to linger over in the presence of Christ, awaiting further insights from the Holy Spirit that might come during the time of adoration. Father Cameron even discusses the sense of isolation, emptiness, and lack of focus that sometimes comes during adoration, reflecting that our "feeling nothing" comes from our desire for "the absent good."

The book also contains brief Eucharistic meditations on each of the mysteries of the Rosary including the Luminous Mysteries. Also included is a Eucharistic Colloquy, a Eucharistic Litany, and Twelve Stations of the Way of the Eucharist. Reflecting on the Annunciation, Cameron points out that as Mary awaited Christ in her womb, we wait for Christ's flesh and blood to inhabit the bread and wine. The marriage feast of Cana reminds us that only Christ can quench "the thirst that we are."
